This movie was epic. Well for me anyway. I like movies that have that realistic appeal.
Don't wanna give away the plot because- spoilers- so just watch it then read this and give me an opinion...
My opinion, I feel bad for her, I really do, but why do you chase after a man when you already have red flags that he never loved you the way you loved him. You also have a very loving family who tries to talk you out of it. Also, take the money, cut your losses and leave. Why obsess over what he did after.
He was also a real con artist and user. He used her love for him to his advantage. He could have fought for her. Why didn't he? This is such a debatable movie. I feel like both of them were just stupid in different ways.
Taraji P. Henson was as always, from what other movies of hers I've seen, just awesome. She just takes over the role and you would actually be convinced that this is her life.
The ending was unexpected, but good one Tyler Perry. Good movie.
