So your typical High School chick flick. Guys, How many times are we going to recycle this idea and dress it up differently. Anyway, maybe it appeals to the younger generation. There are more social media references. They take a while to make it known how these people are connected to probably make you wonder if there is anything going on between them. So this guy has a huge nose and he is best friends with a girl he likes. The girl is just so out of this world because she is so real (Cliche) and so she goes for the handsome guy. He pretends to be the handsome guy through the messages so she sees the real him because of his insecurity, he thinks she won't like him so he never confesses his feelings for her. Okay, so for the younger crowd, it may teach you some good lessons that good looks are not everything. Yes, "good looks attract the mind but good personality, the heart." says Kenneth. This movie was epic. Well for me anyway. I like movies that have that realistic appeal. Don't wanna give away the plot because- spoilers- so just watch it then read this and give me an opinion... My opinion, I feel bad for her, I really do, but why do you chase after a man when you already have red flags that he never loved you the way you loved him. You also have a very loving family who tries to talk you out of it. Also, take the money, cut your losses and leave. Why obsess over what he did after. He was also a real con artist and user. He used her love for him to his advantage. He could have fought for her. Why didn't he? This is such a debatable movie. I feel like both of them were just stupid in different ways. Taraji P. Henson was as always, from what other movies of hers I've seen, just awesome. She just takes over the role and you would actually be convinced that this is her life. The ending was unexpected, but good one Tyler Perry. Good movie.
