In lawfully yours (2016)

The story line of this movie was quite cute and sad at the same time. They could have carried it out a little differently in my opinion. Like of course Chelsey Crisp (Jesse) was probably meant to take over the whole movie because of her personality. I mean she made me get through the movie because she was so hilarious whenever she rambled or said inappropriate things which would obviously tick off  people who have small-town mentality. I just felt that it may have been more emotional, if that's what they wanted it to be, if the sister played a bigger part before she died or the brother and his past were more in the movie.

This was just ultimately, at the point where the daughter-in-law and son-in-law fall in love with a short back story on why their partners are no longer in the picture. Marilu Henner played the kind mother in law, which was refreshing. Makes me wonder how her son turned out to be such an idiot.

The only thing that was a little unbelievable is that I don't think someone would have that much guts and be so confident to take what she wants, especially if it's her ex-husbands sisters husband. Also, the way she speaks and the way she is,that charisma and don't care attitude, doesn't seem normal for someone who just got divorced or is getting divorced. . That's why it's a movie. Everything she says is scripted ofcourse. Yet, would be nice to be so confident in real life, wouldn't it?

So if you like cliches and Happily ever afters, and some cringe-worthy
parts like (When are your'll going to kiss?) - then sure... this is your movie.
