BIRD BOX (2018)

This movie was a bit out of the box for me because I usually lean towards the chick flicks and comedies, but because Sandra Bullock was here,  I had to see what the fuss was about.

The concept was quite interesting, I mean, wanting to die because you saw something which was like your fears or insecurities or inner demons. It was so creepy. I don't know if the fact that they did not show the demon was more scary or less scary than actually seeing what it was.

The fact that there were some people unaffected by these things makes me wonder about some of the mentally disturbed people we have living among us.

What I also don't get is how she got to 5 years. Like if you wanted the kids in the movie, they could have just been born already. It was quite a happy-sad ending. It's actually kind of scary to think about life in such a way, where you are living a normal life and then something just comes and takes it all away from you.

Also, some of the suicides were a bit gruesome. This could be the reason why people are so desensitized to the real things that happen around us, because movies make it so real.

Good watch, I usually dislike things that are scary, but didn't find this one too bad. It was just the right amount of suspense too.
